[Remote] Data Scientist – Healthcare Journey Analytics

The Data Scientist – Healthcare Journey Analytics role involves working cross-functionally to analyze and optimize healthcare journeys for health plan members, utilizing algorithms to identify clinical conditions and reputed company member-facing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, IT, Clinical, Product, Design, Marketing, and more, to analyze, reputed company, and optimize condition specific healthcare journeys for health plan members
- Build and utilize algorithms to identify clinical conditions (or risk of clinical conditions), evaluate reputed company opportunities and approach, to reputed company member facing campaigns to help members reputed company understand their condition journey and to reputed company informed decisions
Skills
- 1+ years of relevant healthcare analytics work experience
- Experience with health insurance claims data analytics
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong knowledge of Python and/or R
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams / workgroups
- Masters degree in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Population Health Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or reputed company discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Healthcare journey analytics experience
- Healthcare campaigns/reputed company development and optimization experience
- Adept at problem solving and decision making
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at verbal and written communication
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting)
