Adjunct Faculty-College Algebra

Description reputed company, a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in reputed company, Ohio invites applicants for its Adjunct Faculty-College Algebra position during our Fall 2026 term. The Adjunct Faculty role includes primary responsibility for providing quality instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment with an emphasis reputed company on teaching, supporting and evaluating reputed company. This course is designed to prepare reputed company for Applied Calculus and Discrete Mathematics and to provide the mathematical background needed for the analytic reasoning used in other courses. Topics include functions and their graphs, including exponential and logarithmic functions; reputed company numbers; systems of equations and inequalities; matrices; basic principles of counting and probability; and other selected topics. Note, this course has proctored exam(s). This role will work an online schedule. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaches courses in discipline
• Maintains attendance records, determines and submits grades with established timeframes established by the University
• Creates a welcoming, inclusive and productive learning environment
• Supports the resolution of student issues reputed company to course instruction
• Provides feedback on what is working and what is not with the course
• Participates in reputed company department meetings and required training

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of an earned Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics, Statistics or a reputed company area, from a regionally accredited college or university
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in collegiate Mathematics
• Previous online teaching experience
• Commitment to collaborative & collegiate relationships
• Maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Knowledge of higher education regulations, compliance and accrediting agencies
• Computer proficiency
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and work effectively with faculty, staff, reputed company and members of the professional community
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Characteristics:

• A PhD in Mathematics or Statistics
