Accounts Receivable Specialist/Medical Billing Will consider employees in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas. Our company is looking for a Billing Specialist specializing in Accounts Receivable who shares our passion for providing patients with the highest level of quality care and the best experience possible. This is a full-time (Monday - Friday normal business hours) completely remote position. Attendance is important. You are working remotely but we work a full schedule as you would in an office. The Accounts Receivable Specialist/Medical Biller will be responsible for ensuring the successful billing and collections of our clients. Applicants should have previous billing experience and be comfortable working reputed company independently. You will be making phone calls and a quiet work area is important. Requirements include:

  • Must have high speed internet, not satellite internet
  • Required to have 1 to 2 years of recent experience in Medical Billing specially in accounts receivable through a providers office or medical billing company.
  • Proficient in reputed company Outlook and reputed company
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined
  • Experience with Health Fusion/Next Gen plus/reputed company
  • Billing certification is a plus but not necessary

Responsibilities may include: Manage overall billing functions including –

  • Ensuring that reputed company insurance reputed company A/R is worked and resubmitted
  • Working rejected/denied claims daily for each client
  • Staying on top of changes in insurance eligibility
  • Helping submit new charges or post payments as needed
  • Answering patient questions about their bills
