Job Summary and Qualifications The Transition to Practice (TTP) Clinical Educator is a skilled professional who specializes in the clinical learning environment. The TTP Clinical Educator supports and assists with clinical education activities for the organization and reputed company their assigned division/market/facility. They play a crucial role in improving professional practice and ensuring high-quality patient care. By facilitating standardized, evidence-based, and top-notch educational content, the TTP Clinical Educator helps enhance the professional competency of nursing, inter-professional, and non-licensed clinical staff and reputed company. They teach relevant content specific to their profession and specialty. This includes reputed company educational aspects of transition to practice programs, including but not limited to new employee orientation, RN Residency/Fellowship, Preceptor Program, and other educational courses/experiences. Additionally, they deliver targeted education to address any identified practice gaps and participate in rounding, aiming to reputed company specific outcomes for the intended audience. In this role you will:

  • Participates and provides lifelong learning
  • Facilitates orientation/onboarding/transition to practice programs to promote employee retention

  • Assists staff to identify areas for individual growth in reputed company role

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing Required
  • Master's degree in nursing Preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical education, reputed company, academia or leadership Preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital Preferred
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state(s) where practicing, in accordance with law and regulation. Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Nationally Recognized Specialty certification Preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 75% in market
