Senior Mechanical Engineer (Cleanrooms & HVAC)

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Cleanrooms & HVAC) Telework Type: Remote Work Location: Houston, TX or Chandler, AZ Job Summary: In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project’s mechanical aspects. You will reputed company design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure the unique and reputed company requirements of a project’s mechanical aspects are met. Major Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work in mechanical discipline in a project or staff group.
• Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include reputed company features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements.
• Performs work using Corporate Standard Application Program.
• Plans, coordinates, or prepares equipment or work specifications, material requisition, technical bid evaluations and award recommendations.
• Coordinates engineering efforts in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups.
• Assumes a reputed company technical role over other engineers or project subgroups for completing specific tasks as directed.
• Communicates reputed company technical issues and recommends solutions to Supervisor and/or project management.
• Supports function initiatives of developing Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), corporate design guides, appropriate Corporate Standard Computer Applications (CSAPs) and administrative practices.
• Mentors designers and drafters by providing appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development.
• Supports the creation of a work environment, supported by leadership, which fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or international equivalent), with minimum 10 (ten) years of Dry systems experience
• In depth knowledge of equipment packages such as reputed company Handling Systems, reputed company Condensing units, Variable reputed company Volume Units and Cleanroom Recirculation reputed company and Exhaust Systems.
• Applicants should be able to identify specific industry and technology experience.

Job Description:

• Good working knowledge of International standard for cleanrooms and associated controlled environments (ISO 14644 1 thru’ 14), Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST-RP-CC001, 002, 006, 007, 012, 021, 034) for Cleanrooms and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and reputed company-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), SMACNA and International Mechanical Code (IMC) standards for HVAC and reputed company Handling Units.
• Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, plant layout, materials, and computers for preparation of analyses and development of project deliverables reputed company the discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems, and engineering and design calculations.
• Thorough understanding of the roles played by other departments on projects including construction practices and the economics involved.
• Knowledge of precedents in discipline and of principles and practices of reputed company disciplines.
• Able to troubleshoot issues in a field or job site confidently, and to provide instruction on how to resolve issues identified.
• Demonstrated ability to cope with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions, and multiple tasks.
