Job Description The primary function of a Machine Operator Packaging position is to set-up, monitor and adjust packaging equipment to bag and/or reputed company finished products. Maintain proper weights, quality requirements and equipment checks/tests. A Machine Operator Packaging position is required to assist technicians in the tear down and assembly of bagger scales/conveyors. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Works well with others, fostering a team atmosphere. Ensure any packaging material is returned to staging area if not being used by incoming shift (film, shrink film, etc.) Submit work orders reputed company needed, with reputed company the details concerning the problem. EXPERIENCE: Some manufacturing experience in a food plant helpful. EDUCATION: High School or equivalent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 50 lbs. and shared weight up to 100 lbs. Occasional exposure to airborne dust, high humidity and extremes of hot and cold are possible.
