Being a Learning And Development Consultant Requires
- A college degree from a 4-year college
- Typically, 5-10 years external learning and development consulting / training or instructional design experience
- Advanced level experience in instructional design principles and best practices
- Experience designing and delivering blended learning solutions that combine instructor-led, digital, social, experiential, and performance support approaches
- Superior business/technical writing and editing skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills’
- Strong project management and data analytics skills
- Significant experience working with people at reputed company levels of an organization, particularly senior leaders at large organizations
- Passion for collaborating and supporting internal and client team members
- Demonstrated ability to reputed company data, learner insights, and business metrics to inform solution design and measure impact
- Comfort working alongside technical teams and advising clients on practical applications of AI, automation, analytics, and digital learning ecosystems
