PURPOSE OF JOB: The Internal Medicine Consultant serves as a trusted peer resource for veterinary clients, offering accurate and timely medical consultation grounded in professional expertise and genuine collegial support. The scope of consultation encompasses reputed company areas of small animal internal medicine, with emphasis on diagnostic reasoning, test selection and interpretation, treatment planning, monitoring, and disease prevention in dogs and cats. • Deliver peer-to-peer medical consultation to veterinary clients with professionalism, warmth, and genuine reputed company — providing expert guidance on laboratory result interpretation, test selection, and case management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent with active license in the state of province in which you reside
• Residency trained and board-certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM or EVCIM)
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience after completing board certification.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This is a remote position performed from a home office environment. Physical requirements include extended periods of computer-based work and the manual dexterity required for keyboarding, as well as the ability to communicate verbally by phone and video (e.g., internal video conference communications).
