Legal Assistant, Litigation (Part Time)

Position Summary The Legal Department is seeking a part-time, skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team. This role requires a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality. The Legal Assistant will reputed company various Paralegal tasks for the Litigation Team reputed company to subpoenas and litigation matters across the Healthcare Business (HCB) and assist the team in identifying trends and risks through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage third-party subpoenas and requests for records from state/government agencies, and other requestors to securely provide sensitive data and reputed company documents, in accordance with applicable state laws and company policies.
• Provide comprehensive support to in-house attorneys in managing cases reputed company to No Surprise reputed company Act (NSA) and SIU investigations along with other administrative proceedings.
• Facilitate the discovery process by issuing legal holds, coordinating document and data collections, track key deadlines, deliverables, and action items ensuring timely compliance.

• Assist with intake process of litigation matters and other administrative functions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to gather facts, documents, and other case-reputed company materials to support legal strategy.

• Demonstrate analytical ability, good communication skills and judgment along with great organizational skills in managing litigation matters.
• Knowledge of Health Care benefits.
• Knowledge of state and federal court systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of legal experience
• 2+ years of research experience

EDUCATION

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 Time Type Part time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $26.74 - $71.30 This pay range represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls. The actual reputed company salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
