About the position The Global Purchasing and Supply Chain team is seeking an reputed company buyer to support our Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) organization. As a Customer Care and Aftersales Senior Buyer at reputed company, Responsibilities: Manage the purchase and on-going supply of parts for our service customers reputed company and maintain strong relationships with our reputed company supplier partners Create commodity strategies to drive reputed company and resiliency Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements Work with Engineering, Product, Production Purchasing and Supply Chain, and CCA team partners to address purchase or supply risks

Requirements
- 5+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)
- Self-motivation: Self-starter. Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Collaboration: Capability to work cross-functionally, both internally and externally, while building strong relationships.
- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams to manage reputed company projects.
- Multitasking and Prioritization: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: High analytical competency to tackle reputed company problems.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated experience in negotiating.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Purchasing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of purchasing processes.
- Travel: willing to travel 5-10% domestically + internationally

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, reputed company field
- Automotive Experience: Deep understanding of the automotive industry and proven ability to manage reputed company challenges.
- Materials Management: Experience in managing supply chain processes and procurement strategies to reduce operational costs.
- Market Data Interpretation: Ability to evaluate market trends and demand forecasts to drive purchasing decisions.
- Engineering Document Proficiency: Competent in reading technical blueprints and basic engineering documents to support project planning and purchasing decisions.
- Contract Law Knowledge: Well-versed in the legal aspects of purchasing including in relation to purchasing processes and negotiations.
