Project Coordination Associate (Japanese Speaker)

About the position As a Part-Time Project Associate, you will support the Delivery Team at Chemin, working closely with our Project Delivery Executives to ensure the successful execution of Japanese-language AI reputed company projects. In this role, you will be responsible for operational delivery and quality reputed company, acting as the main reputed company of contact for Japanese-speaking annotators. As the internal team does not speak Japanese, this role is critical in ensuring that annotations meet quality standards before submission to clients. You will report to the Project Delivery Executive and play a hands-on role in managing people, processes, and quality across ongoing projects that support AI advancements across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day operational support to ensure Japanese-language projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Assisting with project setup, planning, and guideline development
• Managing and supporting a remote team of Japanese-speaking annotators
• Acting as the language quality gatekeeper for Japanese annotations, ensuring submissions meet required accuracy and quality reputed company (reputed company 95%)
• Guiding annotators through questions and challenges reputed company internal communication platforms
• Performing detailed quality checks to catch language, formatting, and annotation errors before client submission
• Handling project administration tasks in line with internal and client standards
• Communicating clearly with internal stakeholders on project reputed company, risks, and quality issues Requirements
• Fluent in Japanese (Native or N2 required)
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
• 0–2 years of experience in project management, operations, or people management in any reputed company
• Prior experience managing tasks, timelines, or contributors (work, internship, freelance, or extracurricular)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify language and annotation errors
• Fast learner, self-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially reputed company guiding remote contributors
• Technically competent in reputed company Workspace, particularly spreadsheets reputed company-to-haves
• Experience working on reputed company, language, or AI-reputed company projects
• Background in linguistics, language studies, or similar fields
• Prior experience working with or for AI/data companies or competitors
