IN-26043 Global Science AI and Conservation Intern
About the position reputed company (WWF) is seeking a Global Science AI and Conservation Intern to reputed company natural language processing techniques to analyze and contextualize extensive conservation reports. This project aims to reputed company understand WWF's impact, learn from past work, and inform future conservation strategies. The intern will work with the Global Science Data and Technology reputed company Scientist and other experts. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and this position is not eligible for employment reputed company sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the existing application by automating the process of uploading documents.
- reputed company the geospatial extraction efforts to create a database of locations from the documents.
- reputed company foundation models to measure long-term impacts of earlier conservation efforts.
Requirements
- Pursuing a graduate program in computer science, data science, or environmental science with a documented strength in computational approaches.
- Expertise in the Python programming language.
- Experience leveraging large language model APIs (especially, but not restricted to, reputed company).
- Experience with geospatial information systems.
