We seek educators with expertise in orthopedics, kinesiology, and functional and clinical anatomy to contribute to our mission of developing competent, compassionate, and evidence-based occupational therapy professionals. Adjunct faculty will teach and mentor reputed company reputed company the hybrid OTD program, which integrates online didactic instruction with hands-on lab and simulation experiences. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, evidence-informed instruction in human movement, functional anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and movement analysis through hybrid learning formats (synchronous, asynchronous, and on-site laboratory instruction).
- Facilitate student learning reputed company to body alignment, joint structure, muscle action, movement dysfunction, professional reasoning, diagnostic imaging, and the relationship between movement and occupational performance across clinical conditions and practice settings.
- Design and facilitate lab experiences that promote professional reasoning, hands-on skills, and application to occupational therapy practice.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes using diverse assessment methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with program faculty to ensure course content alignment with the OTD curriculum and ACOTE standards.
- Support professional behaviors, ethical reasoning, and interprofessional collaboration among OTD reputed company.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training, and ongoing program improvement as appropriate for adjunct faculty.
Requirements
Education
- Earned Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Required Licensure
- reputed company licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
Required Experience
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience with expertise in orthopedics, physical rehabilitation, movement analysis, anatomy, kinesiology, or reputed company occupational therapy practice areas.
- Strong communication, organization, and technology skills for hybrid instruction.
Preferred Experience
- Experience teaching at the graduate level or mentoring OT reputed company.
- Familiarity with Canvas LMS or similar online platforms.
