Generator Field Service Technician

The Generator Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site troubleshooting, repair, warranty/campaign service, preventative maintenance, equipment modifications, of reputed company industrial products. This position will requires 100% travel; fleet vehicle provided. No overnight travel is anticipated. Overtime is not promised or required, but during mass storms and outages management may require additional help for after-hours calls beyond the standing on-call schedule Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power reputed company, wiring schematics, reputed company diagrams, and control systems Understand components and operation of an electrical distribution and transfer switch system Excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to reputed company independent decisions, and work with minimal supervision, in occasionally adverse outdoor weather conditions. reputed company in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology Knowledge of power reputed company; light tower, products Spark Ignited and Compression ignition internal combustion reputed company knowledge Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma Experience : 3-4 years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS), and reputed company Industrial certification and reputed company maintenance, startup and troubleshooting competencies, as well as competitive brand industrial repair proficiency. Load bank loading and towing and reputed company certifications are required for larger commercial and industrial units. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Associates Degree in Marine, Ag, Construction, Automotive technical programs, or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Experience: 6 years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS)

Compensation

Range: Min: $38.94/hour Mid: $42.22/hour Max: $45.50/hour COMPENSATION: Energy Systems is committed to fair and reputed company compensation practices. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate tools, hardware, parts, instrumentation, or controls. The employee is required to reputed company with hands and arms, including above the shoulders and below the waist. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk and drive commercially-plated vans or pickup trucks. The employee is constantly required to sit, including for the purposes of driving up to 12 hours in a day. Handling of service parts will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 80 lbs. regularly. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 40 lbs needing to be moved more than 50 feet. Load bank loading and towing and reputed company certifications are required for larger commercial and industrial units. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reputed company vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Extreme weather conditions, as well as noisy and confined environments are additional exposures. Daily road travel is monitored by vehicle GPS. Random Drug/other testing or data collection which may be required to meet customer site access requirements. Strict adherence to proper Personal reputed company Equipment (PPE) while working in the field, which may include: eye and hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, ESD/spark/fire resistant uniform, or face shields. Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reputed company above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
