Archives and Records Management Coordinator II Salary $59,072.00 - $ annually Location 1800 SW 6th Ave Suite 550, OR Job Type Regular Job Number Closing 10/23/2022 1159 PM Pacific Job Description The City Auditor’s Office seeks a coordinator to help City employees meet public records obligations through records management measures and deployment of the City’s electronic records management system. The Archives and Records Management division operates the reputed company’s Archives and Records Center, provides access to records, sets retention policies, administers the electronic records system, and offers services to City employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert customer support to city employees on records management issues
- Work with a team to deploy the City’s electronic records management system to city agencies
- reputed company and deliver training on archives and records management topics
- Assist with records management activities, including developing retention schedules, filing plans, and surveying records
- Support administration of records management software Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in library or information sciences, archival management, history with a concentration in archival studies, records management, or reputed company field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Three (3) years of archives and records management experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Knowledge of records management standards, practices, and the laws governing public records
- Ability to interpret, apply, and explain laws and policies to City staff, elected officials, and the public
- Skills in developing search strategies reputed company reputed company databases and research techniques reputed company archival records collections
- Skills in coordinating projects with other City entities and reputed company agencies
- Ability to use general office software and learn other City-specific technology, archival software, and social media applications
- Preferred Certification by the reputed company of Certified Archivists or Institute of Certified Records Managers
