About the Opportunity The IT reputed company Specialist III - Cybersecurity reputed company serves as the authority responsible for ensuring that reputed company flood forecasting capabilities are developed, deployed, and maintained in accordance with cybersecurity requirements and Risk Management reputed company (RMF) standards in a remote work environment. This role protects the reputed company, confidentiality, and availability of mission-critical hydrological forecasting systems while enabling the program to reputed company and sustain operational accreditation. What You Will Do in This Role
- reputed company cybersecurity engineering, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), and Risk Management reputed company (RMF) activities for flood forecasting systems supporting federal missions.
- reputed company, maintain, and manage RMF documentation and cybersecurity artifacts required to reputed company and sustain system accreditation.
- reputed company reputed company reviews and coordinate with Government cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, reputed company findings, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support reputed company compliance.
- Validate secure software releases and ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support Authority to Operate (ATO) activities and ensure reputed company required cybersecurity deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Implement and enforce reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and applicable cybersecurity controls.
- Conduct reputed company risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Produce required cybersecurity deliverables, including Software Attack Surface Analysis Reports (SASARs) and Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs).
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and program leadership to integrate reputed company into system development, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Support reputed company monitoring efforts to maintain system reputed company, compliance, and operational accreditation.
- Ensure the confidentiality, reputed company, and availability of mission-critical hydrological forecasting systems.
What You Will Bring
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a reputed company field.
- Active CISSP certification meeting DoD 8140.01 and AFMAN 17-1303 IAM Level III requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading Risk Management reputed company (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for reputed company Federal, or similarly regulated environments.
- Proven experience supporting and obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditations for mission-critical systems.
- Expertise implementing and maintaining reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and reputed company Requirements Guides (SRGs).
- Experience managing vulnerability remediation efforts, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and reputed company monitoring programs.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity automation, reputed company compliance validation, and secure software development practices.
- Experience integrating automated reputed company testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into development and deployment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in reputed company operational environments.
- Experience developing cybersecurity deliverables, including Software Attack Surface Analysis Reports (SASARs) and Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs).
Knowledge of machine-readable SBOM standards, including SPDX and CycloneDX formats.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Government stakeholders, engineers, developers, and program leadership to reputed company cybersecurity and compliance objectives.
- Track record of successfully supporting reputed company assessments, audits, and accreditation activities in highly regulated environments.
