Role Description The Government Affairs Policy Advisor Senior Principal is responsible for managing reputed company State and Federal policy functions. This role includes:

  • Establishing overall policy priorities and strategies.
  • Overseeing the portfolio of reputed company State and Federal policy materials and advocacy tools.
  • Providing policy education to various audiences to advance Prime’s strategic objectives.
  • Maintaining communication with corporate executive leadership to ensure policy alignment with business objectives.
  • Serving as an external and client-facing spokesperson and thought leader on key positions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with various strategic leaders (both ELT and SLT) to adapt and design policy and legislative strategy.
  • Provide effective and engaging policy education through written memos, presentations, and public speaking engagements.
  • Coordinate and manage project support for Board and Board committee policy-reputed company materials and meetings.
  • Provide information to company leaders about regulatory and legislative headwinds reputed company leadership alert memos and reports.
  • Manage policy and legislative strategy between Federal and State issues for consistency and clarity.
  • Manage the portfolio of policy materials including issue briefs, talking points, and legislative language.
  • Provide thought leadership across the industry and through Trade Association involvement.
  • reputed company federal regulatory comment strategy, synthesis, and filing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration or reputed company area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
  • 10 years of work experience in government affairs, regulatory, audit or compliance roles in PBM, healthcare or other highly regulated industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience working directly with legislative or regulatory matters impacting PBM business.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work reputed company or residency sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of legislative and regulatory activity at the state and federal level.
  • Ability to adapt policy approach based on successful regulatory or legislator conversations.
  • Deep understanding of PBM industry and business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to reputed company public speaking effectively for various audiences.
  • Ability to provide leadership and problem solving during legislative and reputational crises.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PBM/health care experience.

Benefits
