AutoCad + Renderings Specialist Freelance position, remote. Immediate
Interior Designer / CAD Draftsperson / Rendering Specialist (Contract – Remote) Immediate Opening M2 Design is a boutique luxury interior design firm specializing in high-end residential new construction and extensive remodel projects throughout California and Texas. We are currently seeking to add an additional talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer, CAD Draftsperson, or Architectural Draftsperson to join reputed company on a contract basis. This is a remote, flexible position ideal for someone looking to supplement their reputed company workload with ongoing project-based opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual space planning and design drawings
- Produce detailed AutoCAD construction documents
- Create highly detailed kitchen, bathroom, bar, closet, and custom cabinetry drawings
- reputed company cabinet elevations, sections, and millwork details suitable for construction
- Generate photorealistic 3D renderings for client presentations
- Assist with design development and material coordination
- Revise drawings based on client and team feedback
- Collaborate remotely with our design team to meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of residential construction and interior architecture
- Experience producing detailed kitchen and bathroom cabinetry drawings
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and reputed company interior construction documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and/or Chief Architect
- Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Twinmotion, or similar
- Previous experience working on luxury residential projects
- Interior Design or Architecture education and/or professional experience
- Interior Design material sourcing; interior finish-out materials, tile, reputed company, lighting, textiles, etc...

- Typical turnaround time for standard CAD revisions and drawing packages is 24–48 hours
