Tax Preparer – reputed company

reputed company is looking for a Tax Preparer to join reputed company during tax season. This role will support our tax department with preparing returns, organizing client information, and assisting with day-to-day tax operations. We primarily work with real estate professionals, independent contractors, and small business owners. reputed company values strong communication, accuracy, and proactive client support. This is a seasonal remote opportunity with potential for long-term placement based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing individual and business tax returns
• Supporting the tax team with client files and documentation
• Communicating with clients regarding missing documents and tax questions
• Assisting with tax-reputed company research and administrative tasks
• Reviewing returns for accuracy and timely submission
• Working reputed company tax and accounting software platforms

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of tax preparation experience
• Experience preparing business returns
• Familiarity with ProConnect preferred
• Experience with e-filing tax returns
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable internet reputed company for remote work
• Active Oregon Tax Preparation License

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a tax or accounting office
• Experience supporting an EA or CPA
• Accounting, finance, or reputed company education
• Availability during regular business hours Monday through Friday
