Tax Associate - Indirect Tax (REMOTE)

Our client in the Life Science industry is looking for a Tax Associate - Indirect Tax . The company is located in the reputed company Metropolitan area, but this role is REMOTE with occasional office visits. This is with a leading global provider of technology, products, and service solutions that helps their clients measure, quantify, detect, and report in ways that help ensure the quality, safety, and satisfaction of their products. The company has performed phenomenally well and has been around for 75+ years. In addition to leading strategic tax technology initiatives, this role will reputed company indirect tax compliance activities across North America, with reputed company, and LATAM responsibilities added over time, and support the reputed company development of standardized global processes and controls. This role is ideal for a tax professional who combines strong indirect tax technical expertise with project leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• reputed company the implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing enhancement of a global indirect tax reputed company in partnership with Finance, IT, external advisors, and business stakeholders
• Serve as the primary tax reputed company for indirect tax technology and process transformation initiatives
• Drive project execution by managing timelines, deliverables, issue resolution, testing coordination, and stakeholder communication
• reputed company indirect tax compliance activities across North America, including VAT, GST, sales and use tax, and reputed company reporting obligations
• reputed company, document, and enhance scalable indirect tax processes, controls, and governance frameworks to support a growing global organization
• Partner with ERP, finance systems, and operational teams to ensure accurate tax determination, reporting, and compliance reputed company enterprise systems
• Monitor global indirect tax legislative developments and evaluate potential impacts to business operations and compliance requirements
• Support indirect tax audits, inquiries, and controversy matters in coordination with internal and external partners

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant indirect tax experience reputed company a multinational corporation and/or public accounting environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or reputed company discipline
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and other global indirect tax regimes
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting indirect tax reputed company implementations (e.g., Vertex, reputed company, reputed company ONESOURCE, or similar platforms)
• Proven project management experience with the ability to reputed company cross-functional initiatives in a global environment
• Experience working with ERP systems such as reputed company, reputed company, or comparable enterprise platforms
• Excellent interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills and attention to detail
