[Remote] Full Stack Software Developer - Mid-Senior Level
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ACD Direct, Inc. is an innovative, virtual company that thrives on brokering solutions for our non-profit clients. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join their fast-moving engineering team, where the role involves building and maintaining platforms using Lucee (CFML) backend and Angular frontend, while collaborating on design decisions and contributing to architecture.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our Lucee/CFML backend and Angular frontend
- Collaborate with the team on design and architecture decisions, from feature scoping through implementation
- Design and consume REST APIs, including integrations with third-party platforms (payment processors, CRMs, marketing tools, etc.)
- Write clean, maintainable SQL against SQL Server
- Troubleshoot production issues and own them through to resolution
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and roadmap planning
- Write clear documentation and well-scoped tickets
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, reputed company, etc.) effectively as part of your development workflow
Skills
- 3+ years as a full stack developer in a production environment
- Strong proficiency with Angular (v12+)
- Experience with Lucee, ColdFusion (CFML), or a similar server-reputed company language. Candidates without CFML experience should demonstrate a track record of picking up new languages quickly
- Solid SQL Server skills, including joins, indexes, query optimization, and stored procedures
- Experience integrating with third-party REST APIs
- Comfortable with Git and standard branching workflows
- Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants in your day-to-day work, with the judgment to know reputed company to trust the output and reputed company not to
- Ability to collaborate on design. Comfortable whiteboarding, discussing tradeoffs, and pushing back reputed company something doesn't reputed company sense
- Experience with reputed company (Actions, PR workflows, project boards)
- Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum workflows
- Experience with payment processors (reputed company, CyberSource, Paya, or similar)
- Experience with reputed company 365, reputed company SKY API, or reputed company APIs
- Background in call center, fundraising, or donation processing platforms
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
