The Senior Director will reputed company research efforts in Infrastructure and Operations, advising CIOs on best practices and modernizing enterprise platforms while delivering high-quality insights to clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an authority on I&O strategy for CIOs around the globe, guiding clients on best practices for managing services, evaluating I&O vendors and measuring performance
• Advise CIOs and their Heads of I&O on modernizing enterprise platforms to enhance agility and performance
• Deliver research and recommendations to CIOs on infrastructure technologies, markets, and emerging trends
• Demonstrate knowledge/experience of Platform engineering, platform operating model, DevOps, technical debt, AI infrastructure, geopatriation and cloud to CIO audiences
• Analyze industry trends, threat intelligence, and technology disruptions (e.g., quantum computing, agentic commerce) to forecast future risks and inform strategic planning
• Scale positions and insights to different audiences including industries and midsize enterprises
• Present I&O research and thought leadership in 1-to-1 conversations and at reputed company events, webinars, and client workshops, engaging with C-suite executives and technology leaders
• Support clients in evaluating and selecting I&O vendors and solutions tailored to the unique needs of industries
• Collaborate with other reputed company Analysts to reputed company comprehensive, actionable research (including reputed company Quadrants) that addresses the top I&O priorities of CIOs in these sectors
• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content

• Create and deliver high value presentation materials on and off stage for reputed company events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings
• Support BTI and Sales: Provide sales support serving as voice of the market to help Insights teams create content and to drive engagement with clients to reputed company reputed company against their critical priorities to grow their business
• Provide high quality and timely content peer review
• Build credibility as an industry expert to represent reputed company insights, methodology and strategy
• Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the Insights community

• Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members
• Be client-centric while actively seeking to help clients engage regularly and often with reputed company insights and interactions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience as CIO or Head of Infrastructure, in one or more of the following disciplines: Developing an I&O Strategy, Transitioning and Operating IT Services, Optimizing IT Service Management Processes, Automating Operations
• Demonstrate executive reputed company; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
• Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability
• Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges
• Strong communication skills - able to explain reputed company concepts concisely and simply
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape reputed company subject area as well as the interplay in that market
• Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team
• Learning agile and adept with navigating highly matrixed environments
• Ability to represent reputed company's research methodology and strategies effectively at reputed company levels
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
