[Remote] Sr. Platform Engineer I

The Sr. Platform Engineer I will be responsible for maintaining platform reliability, implementing infrastructure automation, and supporting customer onboarding while ensuring high availability and efficiency in platform services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain 99.9% uptime for critical platform services
- Reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) for platform incidents by 20%
- Implement automated recovery mechanisms for common failure scenarios
- reputed company 100% infrastructure-as-code coverage for new deployments
- Reduce deployment time by 30% through CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Implement GitOps workflows for reputed company production environments
- Support successful onboarding of new customers on the Fabric platform
- reputed company EA (Enterprise Archive) tenant deployments with minimal reputed company time
- reputed company and maintain self-service capabilities for common provisioning tasks
- Establish reliable US-timezone oncall coverage for platform services
- reputed company follow-the-sun support model with seamless handoffs between regions
- reputed company sub-30-minute response time for P1/P2 incidents during US hours
Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing production AWS environments at scale
- Proven track record of Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting
- Experience implementing and maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure
- Background in CI/CD pipeline development and release engineering processes
- Prior oncall experience with demonstrated incident response capabilities
- Experience working in distributed, global team environments
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, or equivalent)
- Background in GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Exposure to secrets reputed company (HashiCorp Vault)
- Multi-region or multi-account AWS architecture experience
- Prior experience in follow-the-sun support models
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance and reputed company requirements
