[Remote] Data Analyst Principal

GDIT is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology, and mission services to various U.S. government agencies. They are seeking a Data Analyst Principal to support their Data & Analytics organization by providing data-informed solutions, leading data insights projects, and mentoring junior analysts.
Responsibilities
- Leads data insights projects and team members in delivery to schedule and scope objectives
- Collects and analyzes large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Designs, builds and maintains dashboards and reports for reputed company levels of the organization, including executives and staff
- Presents insights to both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders, assisting in making informed, data-driven decisions
- Contributes to a variety of reputed company data-reputed company projects, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and analytics
- Mentors and guides junior data analysts and engineers
- Leverages large sets of structured and reputed company data to reputed company tools and techniques for robust data analysis
- Collaborates with different teams to understand their data needs and create solutions that solve problems and streamline workflows
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies and stay updated on modern data architecture and analyses trends to implement in future projects
Skills
- BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- reputed company in consulting and supporting executives and senior leadership
- Expert-level experience in dashboard design, data visualization, and with Tableau and Power BI
- reputed company with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Strong reputed company background; familiarity with other reputed company tools (Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Agile methodology and practices
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tool(s)
- Experience with Python and R
- Skilled in implementing advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.)
- reputed company in implementing some machine learning techniques (may include supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, reputed company methods, dimensionality reduction)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch), libraries (like scikit-learn), and computing platforms (like Jupyter)
- Experience consulting with internal and external customers to understand business needs and reputed company recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present reputed company data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including business leaders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate insights with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time
- Ability to work independently and as a team reputed company
- Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
