Overview: We are a virtual CPA firm situated in the Bay Area, California, delivering comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and consultation services to a varied clientele. Currently, we seek a skilled bookkeeper to join our team. This position offers 100% remote work with benefits. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in Principal Accounting, strong attention to detail, excellent... communication skills, and exceptional analytical abilities. Administrative Duties: - Promptly responding to client inquiries, coordinating appointments, managing digital document filing, handling tax return administrative tasks, and assisting with various other administrative duties as required. Bookkeeping Duties: Bookkeeping tasks vary depending on the assigned clients, tasks may include but not limited to the following: - Perform full charge bookkeeping services on clients' book - Conduct virtual meetings for client support, periodic bookkeeping review - Process payroll as needed - Prepare sales tax return and schedule sales tax payment as needed - Deliver timely and accurate financial reports including profit and loss, balance sheet and other reports as needed - Assist with the establishment, documentation and continuous improvement of all financial processes, workflows and forms. Desired Qualifications: - Associate Degree in Accounting - Proficiency in Quickbooks Online (QBO Pro Advisor Certificate is a Plus) - 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping - Fully equipped home office setup, including a sufficiently large monitor and a keyboard with 10-key for accounting tasks - Tech Savvy is a MUST - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other cloud-based apps such as Google Suite, Zoom and Slack, etc... - Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, excellent time management - Being able to work independently - Availability to work and communicate, including phone and Zoom calls, during Pacific Time Zone office hours Compensation and Benefits: - Starting $22 to $30 an hour - WFH Stipend - PTO - SIMPLE IRA (with 4% Company Match) - HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement Account) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience: ?
