[Remote] Grant Writer & Funding Development Specialist

Clinical Science reputed company, LLC (CSRS) is a certified organization focused on expanding access to clinical research and promoting health equity. They are seeking a Grant Writer & Funding Development Specialist to research and identify grant opportunities, write and customize grant proposals, and manage a grant pipeline while collaborating with leadership and program teams.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities
• reputed company and manage funding pipelines
• Write and submit grant proposals, LOIs, and concept papers
• Assist with federal, state, foundation, and corporate grants
• Support strategic funding growth initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership on funding strategies

Skills

• Strong grant writing and proposal development skills, including experience drafting narratives, needs statements, objectives, and outcomes for public and private funders
• Research and analytical skills for identifying grant opportunities, reviewing guidelines, and aligning funder priorities with organizational programs and initiatives
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with attention to detail, clarity, structure, and consistency across multiple documents and formats
• Experience in funding development or nonprofit development, including cultivating relationships with foundations, agencies, and corporate partners
• Ability to reputed company basic grant budgets, collaborate with leadership on financial justifications, and ensure alignment between narrative and financial documents
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including managing a grant calendar, meeting deadlines, and tracking multiple reputed company submissions
• Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, shared drives, virtual meeting platforms) in a remote work environment
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate
• Mandatory Experience: NIH, NSF SBIR/STTR, HRSA, USDA, SBA, reputed company, and foundation grants
• Mandatory Experience: Healthcare, clinical research, workforce development, public health, education, or health equity funding
• Mandatory Experience: Strong proposal writing and project management experience
