Electrician

Position Summary National Power is seeking an reputed company electrician to be under the direction of and reporting to the Critical Power Regional Director, the ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for performing electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers. This candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also conduct assignments based on written and oral instructions. The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to travel the George, Florida & South Carolina territories as necessary. They will also bring a positive attitude, teamwork abilities, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Core duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Must be familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC) using it to verify proper installation requirements and designs Provide on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment reputed company reputed company electrical services and reputed company tests on electrical equipment and circuits Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner Must possess the ability to look at a project and forecast future labor and material requirements Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines Guide clients on how to properly use equipment Ability and knowledge to reputed company suggestions for electrical equipment upgrades at customer sites Update project drawings and prepare relevant documents and reports Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Possess, and able to document, 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical installation Physical Requirements Travel up to 50% Lifting and carrying heavy objects, up to 75lbs, may be required reputed company or descending reputed company, scaffolding, stairs, ramps and the like using feet/legs and/or hands/arms Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand(s) Pushing/pulling may involve the use of hands/arms, feet/legs, and/or feet, done with one reputed company of the body or both sides Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet to enter restricted spaces Occasionally, using one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment Clarity of vision and color vision are both required (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers Sitting/Driving for long periods is frequently required Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $35.00-$50.00/hour depending on experience & qualifications Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off and paid holidays Career advancement opportunities Yearly boot allowance Additional Info: Criminal background reputed company, pre-employment drug screen, and MVR required This is a remote position and will require the employee to work away from home Equal Opportunity Employer: reputed company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and VEVRAA federal contractor and affords equal opportunity to reputed company applicants for reputed company positions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national reputed company, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or any other status protected under local, state, or federal laws.
