Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice - Hybrid

Job Description reputed company has an immediate opening for an Associate for our Medical Malpractice group. The candidate will work a hybrid schedule from Bedminster, NJ. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and research abilities, and prior exposure to litigation work. Responsibilities: Support the defense of reputed company medical malpractice cases from inception through trial and appeal. Conduct case evaluations, reputed company litigation strategy, and advise clients on risk assessment and potential exposure. Draft and argue dispositive motions, prepare trial briefs, reputed company discovery, including expert witness preparation. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings and trials. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Stay reputed company on changes in healthcare law. Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc. Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Bedminster, NJ office. Requirements: 2-5 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice and/or General Liability. J.D. from an accredited law school. Active and good standing NJ bar license; required. Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Expertise in defense litigation. Experience reviewing reputed company medical records, expert testimony, and scientific evidence. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Prior experience representing hospitals, physicians, insurance companies or healthcare systems, preferred. Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including education, experience and internal equity.
