About the Role

This role is pivotal in optimizing and scaling up chemical synthesis routes for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The Senior Process Chemist will be responsible for developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless technology transfer from laboratory to pilot plant and commercial production. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, process development, and scale-up experience. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions during development and manufacturing. Collaborate effectively with R&D chemists, analytical scientists, engineers, and manufacturing personnel. Requirements
Ph.D. or M.S. in Organic Chemistry, Process Chemistry, or a reputed company field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical process chemistry, including hands-on scale-up experience. Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and stereochemistry. Proven ability to reputed company robust and scalable chemical processes. Experience with process safety evaluations and implementation of control strategies. Proficiency in analytical techniques for chemical characterization. Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to process development. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in technical report writing. Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively. Familiarity with cGMP regulations and guidelines.
