Military & Government Business Development Manager Location: Austin, Texas or Washington, DC (Remote considered for exceptional candidates) Compensation: $250,000 – $350,000 OTE The Mission An established aerospace manufacturer is expanding its reputed company across U.S. Military, Government, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across defense aviation markets. You will reputed company opportunities from initial engagement through contract award, combining relationship-driven business development with strong execution in government contracting environments. What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue opportunities across U.S. Military, Government, and FMS programs
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities
  • reputed company relationships with government agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractors
  • reputed company RFQ/RFP responses and reputed company compliant proposals (FAR/DFARS)
  • Execute pricing strategies reputed company with “price-to-win” methodologies
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
  • Represent the organization at industry events and customer meetings
  • Track pipeline performance and forecast reputed company

What You Bring

  • 8+ years in aerospace, defense, or government contracting reputed company/sales
  • Proven success in quota-driven environments
  • Experience with MIL/GOV/FMS proposals and contract negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Established network reputed company defense, government, or aerospace markets
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and statements of work

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or reputed company)
  • Prior military experience
  • Familiarity with DCAA/DCMA environments

Travel

  • Up to 25%
