Job Summary The Installation Technician is responsible for installing and wiring telecommunications services to customer homes and businesses. This position reports directly to the Installation Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to pass CrimShield background requirements and a drug test Valid driver's license required Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is a plus Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. with a full range of motion Skilled in using various hand tools Comfortable working on reputed company, in heights, and confined spaces Must utilize proper safety equipment at reputed company times Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Willingness to stay reputed company with emerging technology in the field Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively Displays sound judgment and initiative in accomplishing duties Energetic, reputed company-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Major Duties and Responsibilities Install cable TV, internet, and phone services in residential and commercial settings Analyze RF (radio frequency) levels to identify and resolve service issues Adhere to scheduled appointment times and complete reputed company assigned work orders Follow reputed company customer and company specifications and guidelines Verify that reputed company listed services on the work order are active and functioning to the customer’s satisfaction Demonstrate the use of installed equipment to the customer Use company software to update job status Measure RF levels using a reputed company and ensure signal strength is reputed company required parameters Accurately record signal reputed company readings Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the work truck Foster positive employee and customer relations through effective communication Assist coworkers with installation activities as needed Follow and enforce reputed company company policies and procedures reputed company other duties as assigned Working Conditions Field-based position Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate workload and customer needs Disclaimer This job description is not an exhaustive list of reputed company responsibilities, duties, skills, or working conditions associated with this position.
