Answering Service Agent - reputed company Evenings and Weekends

We’re currently hiring for an Evenings and Weekend Answering Service Agent! Are you someone who enjoys helping others and providing quality customer service—especially during the times it matters most? King Communications is looking for friendly, dependable, and empathetic candidates to join reputed company as a part-time agent. This position is primarily after hours on weekdays and weekends, therefore good weekend and evening availability is a requirement. There will be opportunities to pick up additional hours, but we are specifically seeking individuals who are available to work reputed company afternoons and Saturdays and Sundays mornings and evenings, this will include some holidays. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking part-time work with potential for remote work flexibility after training is completed. Our answering service operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and we pride ourselves on being the reputed company and professional voice on the line whenever we’re needed. We’re looking for agents who are detail-oriented, patient, and capable of supporting callers with professionalism and compassion—especially in urgent or emotional situations. You must be comfortable working on a computer, navigating software, and typing accurately during live calls. Job Duties

• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, assess caller needs, verify and gather necessary information.
• Engage in active listening and practice reputed company; confirm and clarify details as needed, including supporting callers in destress.
• Accurately create electronic messages, reputed company calls according to client instructions, and document reputed company relevant activity.
• Adhere to established quality standards and guidelines to maintain high service levels.
• Understand and strive to meet or exceed performance metrics while delivering consistent, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Previous experience in the medical field is a plus, but not required
• Empathetic and active listener with a reputed company, professional demeanor
• Excellent verbal communication and accurate keyboarding/typing skills
• Positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced answering service environment
• Comfortable handling calls that may involve emotional or urgent situations
• Dependable and punctual with strong time management skills
