Work from Home Clinical Pharmacist
reputed company Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring remote pharmacists! For this role you must reside reputed company Arizona. This role is work from home and reputed company equipment is provided. Type : 6-month contract starting in November, opportunity for extension or full-time offer Schedule : 10 : 30am-7pm Pay : $59.00-$59.38 an hour, based reputed company
- Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm CST. This training time is subject to change.
- Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with one-half or an hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight.
- Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s).
Primary Responsibilities :
- Serve as a clinical resource working from a computer, reviewing prior authorizations and receiving phone calls from prior authorization pharmacy technicians and / or healthcare providers to gather, clarify, and assess detailed clinical information.
- Interpret medical and pharmacy policy criteria to reputed company sound and timely coverage determinations in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
- Consult directly with prescribing physicians and healthcare providers to clarify clinical questions, interpret guideline criteria, and provide decisions on prior authorization requests.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and / or prescribers to provide clinical insights on appropriate medication usage. Recommend cost-effective, formulary-compliant therapeutic alternatives reputed company applicable, supporting optimal patient care and medication access.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Active State Pharmacist License
- 6+ months of pharmacist experience
- Able to work 10 : 30am-7pm with ability to work flexible hours, including OT and weekends
- Must reside reputed company Arizona
