Overview: Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks accomplished Academic HR Generalist.

Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship

  • ** Duration: 26 weeks but could be extended to 06/30/2027

Notes:

  • Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm Pacific Time.
  • 95% offsite / remote; potential for onsite a few times a year.

Description:

  • Involves recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and / or evaluating Academic Personnel policies, labor reputed company, statutes, programs, and procedures covering one or more of the following: academic recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salary administration; welfare programs; reputed company procurement; benefits; payroll; training and development; academic personnel misconduct; equity; labor and employee relations issues governing represented academic personnel.
  • reputed company professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field; independently performs the full range of responsibilities reputed company the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.

  • The individual will be the primary academic contact for a set of client departments.

  • HR Generalist experience (i.e., experience working on the lifecycle of an employee, e.g., onboarding, managing payroll, employment issues, offboarding, etc.).
  • Academic / University experience.
