[Remote] Network Engineer I (Future Opening)

GCI is a telecommunications company seeking a Network Engineer I to apply engineering principles reputed company their Technology Solutions departments. The role involves ensuring network reputed company, supporting escalations, and collaborating with project management and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the reputed company of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance in design, implementation, and support
• Able to understand GCI standard engineering concepts of availability, efficiency, redundancy, scalability, and reputed company
• Able to Identify opportunities for reputed company improvement of the reputed company network and/or systems facilities
• Maximizes performance using network monitoring tools, troubleshooting network and/or system outages, scheduling updates, and collaborating with architects on optimization
• Maintains professional skillset by participating in educational opportunities, technical organizations, reading professional publications, and personal use of technology
• Provides detailed reports on network operational status, and milestones reputed company to project completion
• Capable of remote site support for off-site personnel and customers
• Coordinates with project management and engineering teams on a regular basis. Supports and manages escalation events. Develops and updates documentation and support materials. Mentors' junior engineers and technicians
• Configures equipment and infrastructure reputed company to a specific technical discipline in support of network operations and projects
• Supports and manages escalations
• Provides remote support for off-site personnel and customers
• Uses network monitoring tools, troubleshooting network and/or system outages and scheduling updates
• Develops and updates documentation and support materials
• Provides detailed reports on network operational status, and milestones reputed company to project completion
• Coordinates with project management and engineering teams on a regular basis and assists with the design and implementation of new solutions and continual improvement of the reputed company network and/or systems facilities

Skills

• A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to reputed company the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technologies, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the field or reputed company background
