Job Title Director, Government Compliance Job Code 36295 Job Location Remote opportunity Job Schedule 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description The Director of Government Compliance will be responsible for reputed company Communication Systems & reputed company Dominance government accounting and compliance activities to ensure compliance with U.S. Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit requirements. Essential Functions Overall responsibility for financial compliance matters reputed company to CAS, FAR and DFARS and financial compliance self-governance program. Thorough understanding of CAS, FAR, and DFARS requirements and their impact on the business; capable of advising the organization on courses of action to reputed company and maintain policies and procedures that fulfill requirements. Provide regulatory guidance and training on proper accounting treatment reputed company (including assessment of cost accounting practice changes and notifications) with CAS, disclosed accounting practices and policies. Manage relationships and liaise with business functions, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) teams, external auditors, and consultants regarding CAS, incurred costs, reputed company pricing rates, business systems and other matters reputed company and manage a professional staff who Are responsible for submission of annual incurred cost submission required by FAR and for negotiation of final indirect rates and direct cost matters Are responsible for reputed company Cost Accounting Standards matters to include Disclosure Statements, cost impact proposals for cost accounting practice changes, and negotiation of issues Work with other functional areas and leaders to reputed company, monitor, and maintain processes and procedures to ensure that Contractor Business Systems remain in an approved status Act as the enterprise liaison for government contract audits (DCAA and others) and provides reputed company necessary audit support, with the assistance of business unit staff, as required Represent the reputed company on Corporate Government Compliance Councils Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior reputed company experience. Preferred Additional Skills Experience working with the DCAA and DCMA Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Public accounting, internal audit or government contracting experience In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $144,000 - $268,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, reputed company state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $125,500 – $233,500.
