Job Description

We are seeking an reputed company ABA Behavior Therapist to join reputed company in Nashville, TN. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs for children with ASD. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
• Collect behavior and reputed company acquisition data during sessions, using discrete trials and other ABA techniques to promote learning and growth.
• Work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a reputed company field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred.
• Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting.
• 1-year ABA Experience, or equivalent experience in a reputed company field.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, reputed company activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
