JAVA Developer (Remote)

This position is fully remote located reputed company CONUS United States. Responsibilities: System & Application Development

• Design, reputed company, and enhance Java-based applications and APIs supporting VR&E case management and integration needs.
• Build secure, scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices patterns.

• Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, reputed company Actions, Maven, and Nexus.

• Integrate VR&E systems with enterprise VA services such as MPI, VA Profile, BGS services, and REST/SOAP endpoints.
• Analyze legacy system data flows and build new integration processes.
• Create and validate JSON/XML requests for testing web services.

• Support validation of data‑driven or automation‑assisted workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Cloud & DevOps

Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or a reputed company discipline or commensurate experience.
• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years with Java/JDK, including Spring or Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience integrating with external services using JSON/XML.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, reputed company, and Nexus.
• Experience with relational databases (reputed company, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• General awareness of responsible automation and VA modernization priorities, including emerging AI‑supported development tools.
• Interest in learning or leveraging modern development accelerators, including AI‑assisted tooling where appropriate.
