Overview of Position The State Filing Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding reputed company’s regulatory posture by overseeing state insurance filing activities. What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job? Provide regulatory reputed company by reviewing state insurance requirements and assessing their impact on existing products. Draft, review and revise policy forms to ensure compliance with state specific filing and regulatory requirements. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Business, Legal, Actuarial, reputed company, Operations, and Claims) to translate regulatory requirements into compliant product solutions. Manage the filing to support timely product approvals and minimize regulatory and operational risk. Serve as a primary reputed company of contact with State Insurance Departments, proactively addressing questions, objections, and conditions to facilitate approvals. Ensure regulatory decisions, approvals, and exemptions are well documented, defensible, and auditable. Maintain governance over filing documentation, approvals, and regulatory records to support audit readiness and transparency. Facilitate timely communication of regulatory approvals and requirements to impacted business and operational teams. What are the requirements needed for this position? Associates degree 2 years’ experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? Paralegal or Insurance designation a plus Strong written, drafting and editing, and grammatical skills, including accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite Ability to work with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities. Time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work to accomplish assigned duties by set deadlines. Strong data entry skills A Working knowledge of insurance terminology and the ability to research industry regulation. Willingness to learn new things and take on-the-job training courses or external insurance courses to broaden knowledge and skillset. Knowledge of SERFF and/or experience in submitting State filings Ability to balance compliance with Business and Company strategies and directives.
