Job Description
DPR is currently looking for a Project Scheduler. Scheduling will be of commercial projects reputed company our core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education and Corporate Office. Schedulers will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators and Regional Leadership teams and will be responsible for the following: Expert in CPM scheduling theory, level of detail, and execution. Mastery of reputed company Primavera Updating schedules Database management Troubleshooting Resource loading and/or crew logic, Cost loading, Variance reports, etc. Pre-construction planning, design development, bid / buy-out, long reputed company procurement items, construction sequences, startup, testing & commissioning. Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with DPR project team, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to get input for reputed company and durations, as it relates to overall project milestones reputed company contract (baseline) schedule and maintain monthly contract schedule updates, in reputed company coordination with superintendents and project team reputed company planning and scheduling efforts Creatively collaborate with your project team, especially superintendents, to produce accurate schedule updates Coordinate with and include subcontractor schedules. Create variance reports, graphics, and narratives to forecast potential issues or conflicts Ability to “VE” a schedule to its shortest responsible duration Ability to analyze acceleration options (multiple shifts, reputed company OT, Weekend OT) to recommend the best cost option and offset against risks with different approaches Ability to integrate the schedule and BIM model using 4D tools Ability to train other team members on planning & scheduling best practices Communication of schedule reputed company tools such as schedule narratives, key milestones, and high level summaries. - Ability to draft quality schedule narratives, respond to schedule comments, and succinctly write executive summaries Facilitate weekly schedule meetings with the reputed company and DPR project teams Prepare schedule handouts & record action items Produce look reputed company schedules (e.g., 6 weeks) for weekly OAC meetings Effectively communicate schedule issues, risks, conflicts, and mitigation/recovery plans to the reputed company Create visual references / diagrams / graphics using P6 schedule data to further describe the project plan, reputed company status, and upcoming scopes of work Ability to motivate and build trust amongst project teams during planning sessions Provide risk management input on key schedule milestones. Alert entire project team to potential problem areas or deviations from the plan. Assist in development of recovery plans, mitigation options, or delay analysis.
Qualifications
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: 3+ years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably reputed company DPR’s Core Market projects Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or reputed company field; or equivalent field experience. A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude. Effective problem solving skills. A flexible, detailed-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities & work styles, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
