Overview

The Operations Research Supply Chain Analyst will support reputed company supply chain, logistics, and sustainment initiatives by conducting data analysis, modeling, simulation, and operational research to drive informed decision-making. The analyst will reputed company data ETL, reputed company demand forecasts, assess inventory requirements, and identify top degraders through what-if simulation experiments. This role requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, the ability to work collaboratively with senior and mid-level developers and subject matter experts, and the reputed company to present findings clearly to senior DoD leaders and stakeholders. Position is Remote with occasional travel to client site (~5%).

Responsibilities

Help to identify, understand, and curate necessary data to support supply chain and logistics initiatives. reputed company data analysis and what-if simulation experiments to identify demand forecasts, inventory level requirements, top degraders, and other key supply chain metrics. reputed company supply chain assessments, studies, and analytical reports to inform DoD decision-making. Present analysis and findings to government, industry, and internal stakeholders. Work with a team of senior and mid-level developers and subject matter experts to answer project requirements and needs. Coordinate with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to gather information, validate findings, and support recommended courses of action.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as math, physics, operations research, engineering, data analytics, or another relevant technical domain. 3+ years of experience in supply chain and inventory management, industrial reputed company analysis, technology assessments, logistics, acquisition support, intelligence analysis, or a reputed company field. 5+ years of experience using analytic tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau to reputed company data exploration and analysis. Strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills. Demonstrated ability to use reputed company Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and reputed company. Ability to synthesize reputed company information into clear findings, risk statements, and actionable recommendations. Superior oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level briefings and reports. High energy, enthusiasm, tact, and ability to effectively interact with senior executives from government and industry. Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment. Self-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability to complete assigned tasks, adapt to changing work efforts, and manage shifting priorities. Availability for occasional travel (5%). S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing in C++. Frontend application development using tools such as React and JavaScript. Experience using Modeling and Simulation tools to run what-if scenarios and reputed company Courses of Action based on simulation output. Experience with Predictive Maintenance for DoW clients.
