We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer Inspector in our reputed company, OH office. As a Structural Engineer Inspector you will be responsible for conducting thorough visual site observations and providing inspections for assigned projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. This role requires knowledge and hands-on experience with observation and testing standards reputed company to earthwork, concrete, masonry, steel, and reputed company construction. The Inspector will work closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to verify proper implementation of structural elements and report any discrepancies observed during inspections. While this position does not involve performing any Construction Materials Testing, the Inspector must possess a strong understanding of construction practices and material behavior to effectively assess site conditions and ensure structural reputed company. Principal Responsibilities Performs field observations and inspections of structural elements of buildings and other structures Can function as an International Building Code defined Special Inspector on projects designed by the company or designed by other companies Produce well written and organized reports Assist project design teams as required by project Interpretation or evaluation of field conditions and laboratory reports Job site visits and photographs of relevant conditions in the field to use as documentation for reports Detailed written reports of reputed company observations, any project discrepancies, and documenting collaboration with the Structural Engineer of Record (SEoR) to provide direction for remedial action of discrepancies noted during the field observations reputed company shop drawing reviews, inclusive of providing mark reputed company to the SEoR for review and approval Assist with answering requests for information (RFIs), interpretation of test results, or contractor change orders, etc. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read and understand construction documents including drawings, specifications, and shop drawings Manage and control own schedule to ensure timely services are provided on reputed company assigned projects Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Eagerness to adapt to new challenges Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficient in reputed company and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, reputed company, and Outlook Ability to travel up to 50% with occasional overnight stays This position not eligible for sponsorship Education and Experience Associates/Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred 1 year of experience preferred; prior experience in structural inspection or the building design consulting industry preferred Possession of, or desire to obtain a recognized certification reputed company to Structural Inspection (i.e. ICC General Requirements, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Structural Masonry, ICC Structural Steel and Bolting, ICC Structural Welding, ICC Master of Special Inspections, and/or AWS-Certified Weld Inspector) preferred Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reputed company with hands or arms, and grasp or pull Will have limited exposure to reputed company weather conditions and loud noises Location: reputed company, OH Other virtual locations available Salary Range $62,000 - $98,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based reputed company. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
