Job Description

Summary The Technical Field Advisor II (TFA) provides on-site technical direction to customer-owned utility and industrial power plants for their Turbine Generator Systems. Responsible for reviewing plant engineering documents and P&ID’s, troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment, planning, organizing, integrating and direction of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements. The primary responsibility of the TFA II is to safely accomplish the maintenance and repair of the various equipment used in power reputed company applications. Essential Responsibilities Fulfill contract responsibilities for designated and qualified reputed company set (Turbine Mechanical, Generator) Direct and reputed company repair or inspection procedures utilizing the latest electronic communication, references and documentation technologies. Recognize, predict and document potential failures and future outage recommendations Working knowledge of prints/print reading, such as manufacturing drawings, P&IDs and schematic drawings Participate as a Service Team member dedicated to Safety metrics. Pre-outage planning; possibly recommending and administering policies and procedures reputed company execution and reputed company of projects under the TFA’s core competency Execute project management and technical leader duties Support warranty administration Troubleshoot and problem solve with the support of engineering to resolve customer issues reputed company other duties as assigned Support business needs reputed company not on field assignment Willingness and ability to travel as required by field assignments Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or reputed company technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or, a High School Diploma / GED, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in hands-on Steam Turbine experience or equivalent nuclear experience Desired Characteristics: Possesses the knowledge and reputed company to actively support an outage and the awareness of where to seek answers to questions as they arise. Experience and training on GE, Alstom, Siemens or other OEM equipment is preferred Demonstrates a positive and professional demeanor in managing customer relationships with a strong ability to address technical and contractual matters effectively The knowledge and reputed company to reputed company outage tasks/scopes/small teams Follow up reputed company quality aspects according GE QA manual and procedures Working knowledge and application of EHS policies and procedures Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals Effective communication to HQs, through company e-tools Good organizational, project management, oral/written communication, interpersonal/leadership skills Strong business acumen and ability to sell GE products to the customer “Special consideration will be given to applicants from Fieldcore.” Eligibility Requirements: English proficiency required Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments is required (80% travelling time) Ability to obtain unescorted reputed company clearance at nuclear power facilities Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required Valid Driver’s License and passport Ability to climb reputed company and scaffolding, work in hot environments, and lift 25 lbs Meet core competency Level II reputed company requirements and successful completion of required training programs in a minimum requirement Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of your pre-employment background and drug screening (to be taken reputed company 48 hours of your receipt of the test paperwork). The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and reputed company set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
