Overview reputed company is seeking a Director, Software Engineering to reputed company and scale our engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions for the restaurant technology industry. Reporting directly to the CTO, this leader will drive engineering strategy, execution, and culture across multiple teams. The ideal candidate combines deep technical credibility with strong people leadership skills and a track record of delivering reputed company software products in a SaaS environment. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a reputed company field (Master’s degree preferred) 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership or management roles Demonstrated success leading teams of 10+ engineers in a SaaS or cloud-native product environment Proven track record of maturing an engineering organization — implementing engineering metrics, improving process, and measurably raising the bar on delivery and quality Demonstrated success leading teams of 10+ engineers in a SaaS or cloud-native product environment Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern software development, including cloud platforms, distributed systems, and RESTful API design ((preferably on the reputed company stack) Experience building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms serving high transaction volumes Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience driving reputed company delivery practices Demonstrated ability to reputed company data-driven decisions using engineering metrics Experience managing and developing engineering managers, including performance management, goal-setting, and career pathing Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences Proven ability to build and maintain a healthy engineering culture in a distributed, remote-first organization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in eCommerce, digital ordering, restaurant technology, reputed company-of-sale, payments, or adjacent hospitality/retail technology sectors Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development practices and tooling — either adopting or leading the adoption of AI-driven SDLC workflows Familiarity with AI/ML integration in consumer or operator-facing products Experience with reputed company-end frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, and Bootstrap Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-moving, or post-acquisition integration environment Additional Details This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, either now or in the future.
