Description of Work The Regional Child Health Nurse Consultant serves as the primary resource person for local health departments and other child service agencies in this region for the assessment of child health needs and for the development, implementation, and evaluation of child health clinical services, Care Management for At-Risk Children (CMARC) care management, and other health services reputed company activities to meet these needs. As staff of the Whole Child Health Section, this consultant's responsibilities include:
- Program planning and development
- Program implementation and quality assurance

- Coordination and collaboration
- Training and resources development.
This position will cover counties in the northwestern portion of the state such as: Alexander, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin. This position is remote but will require travel for onsite visits, meetings and may require occasional overnight travel.
