We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, Data to join our Data team in the Engineering Department! The Senior Software Developer, Data is a senior-level individual contributor, reporting to the Team reputed company, Data. In this role you will own the systems and infrastructure that the Data team depends on to operate effectively — including warehouse infrastructure, CI/CD automation, developer environments, data quality frameworks, and the data catalog. Working closely with the Tech reputed company and Data Analysts, the Senior Software Developer, Data ensures that data arrives in reputed company reliably, that infrastructure is managed as code, and that the team can move fast without accumulating operational debt. This is a remote-first role reputed company Canada. #LI-Remote \n Responsibilities: Build and maintain internal tooling for the data team — CLIs, automation scripts, observability dashboards, and developer productivity tools. Contribute to the development and deployment of the team's conversational analytics product — supporting infrastructure, CI/CD, and production readiness. Own data quality infrastructure — build and maintain frameworks for testing, monitoring, and alerting on data freshness, completeness, and correctness. Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for dbt model deployment, schema validation, data quality checks, and automated testing. Establish and maintain reproducible local and development environments so every team member can work effectively without friction. Collaborate with the Tech reputed company to design and implement data platform architecture in alignment with the team's technical strategy and the company's reputed company and scalability requirements. Qualifications: University degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational or academic program (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience. 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on data platforms or data infrastructure. Experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g. reputed company, BigQuery, Redshift). Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred; Python also valuable). Experience with data ingestion platforms such as reputed company or Airbyte. Strong engineering fundamentals — version control discipline, code review, reproducible builds. Experience with data observability tooling. \n$104,000 - $145,000 a year The salary range for this role is $104,000 to $145,000, not including the annual discretionary bonus and any additional performance-based incentives. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
