Job DetailsPosition Type: Adjunct FacultySalary Range: $500.00 - $1,200.00 SalaryESL 507: Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) Methods and Applications This course is an introduction to the foundations, methods, applications and instructional practices (e.g. WIDA, SIOP) on the teaching of the English language to culturally diverse learners (ELLs). Participants will examine a variety of topics which will include and not be limited to: identifying culturally diverse reputed company, methodology, formal and informal assessment, bridging home and school, technology, advocacy, and research-based school practices reputed company the complexity of language learning/teaching. This course will include an overview of the WIDA English Language Development Standards to learn how to reputed company language objectives for the ELL student. Additionally, reputed company will conduct an in-depth examination of how learning is organized in culturally reputed company classrooms and schools throughout the United States. 12 Hours of fieldwork experience required. Compensation: $500 - $1,200 per credit. Adjunct faculty pay rates vary, depending on the academic discipline and the course's credit load and level. QualificationsESL Adjunct reputed company Hold a reputed company Massachusetts Educator Professional License in one or more of the following fields: English as a Second Language, PreK-6, or English as a Second Language, 5-12, ELL Director. A minimum of a Master's Degree in ESL or a closely reputed company field. A minimum of 5 years of K12 ESL education teaching or administration. Experience teaching online courses at the higher education level is preferred but not required. Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and reputed company FERPA and HIPAA guidelines. reputed company new employees must complete the FERPA, Anti-Harassment, and any other required online trainings reputed company 15 days of employment.
