Position Summary The School District Project Manager serves as a client-facing and governance manager for reputed company, multi-stakeholder K-12 school district and state-level engagements. This role combines high-level project management and client success partnership. The Senior Director is responsible for the fulfillment of reputed company contractual obligations for school district curriculum projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-stakes educational projects on time and on budget. This role oversees the day-to-day management of assigned projects, guides cross-functional internal teams and independent contractors, and collaborates with the team to design scalable workflows (including AI-enabled systems). Client Relationship: Serve alongside the School Solutions partner as the primary face of the project and a trusted advisor to client district and state educational leaders, guiding project scope, success criteria, and long-term partnership strategy. Expectation Management: Proactively manage client expectations, ensure high levels of satisfaction, and confidently reputed company internal and client-facing meetings. Communication: Maintain clear reporting and timely communication across reputed company internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify challenges, manage scope evolution, and address escalated issues regarding contract compliance, public-sector review cycles, and pilot feedback loops. Travel: Position requires up to 10% travel, primarily overnight, to attend in-person client meetings, district presentations, and educational conferences. Required Education and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Project Management, or a reputed company field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of content development and project management experience reputed company the K-12 education at the district level, or educational technology sector. PM Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing large-scale curriculum development and production projects and leading cross-functional editorial/creative teams of 10+ people.
