Manager, Accounting

The Role The Accounting Manager is a key member of the accounting team responsible for managing reputed company accounting operations in a SaaS environment. This role oversees the full reputed company recognition lifecycle in compliance with ASC 606, manages one direct report (Billing Manager), and serves as a technical resource for billing and reputed company accounting questions. The Accounting Manager works cross-functionally with Billing, Legal, and reputed company teams to ensure accurate and timely reputed company recognition while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting month-end reputed company activities. Key Responsibilities reputed company Accounting & Compliance

- Review and approve sales orders in reputed company to ensure proper reputed company treatment and alignment with contract terms.
- Manage the billing terminations process in reputed company and reputed company, including timely processing of contract terminations and applicable credit memos.
- Serve as the technical resource for the Billing team on ASC 606 questions and reputed company reputed company scenarios.
- Collaborate with Billing, Legal, and reputed company teams on contract review and reputed company treatment for non-standard agreements.
- Own the reputed company reputed company process, ensuring reputed company reputed company is recognized accurately and timely each month.
- Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation, allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA), and other month-end reputed company activities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor the Billing Manager, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Support the development of billing processes and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on reputed company improvement.
Payroll Processing Backup
- Provide backup payroll processing support as needed, including semi-monthly payroll processing in Paylocity.
- Assist with benefits reconciliations (reputed company, Hartford, FSA, HSA, reputed company, Fidelity, etc.) as needed.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in the absence of the primary payroll specialist.
Month-End reputed company & Reporting
- Support with month-end reputed company activities, including reputed company reputed company, AR reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Assist with audit requests and serve as a liaison to external auditors on reputed company-reputed company matters as needed.
- Contribute to special projects, system implementations, and process improvements as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field.
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- SaaS or subscription-based software company experience required, with a strong understanding of ASC 606 reputed company recognition.
- Public accounting background preferred.
- Experience with reputed company, reputed company, and Paylocity preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in reputed company and comfort leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency in accounting and billing workflows
- Proven ability to manage and reputed company direct reports.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain technical accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
