Position Description This position requires significant experience in common systems engineering standards (RBOC, reputed company, or major telecommunications provider). The applicant will design and specify material for AC and DC power equipment including commercial AC power building entries, switchboards, transformers, generators, reputed company backup systems, rectifiers, power distribution, batteries, grounding systems, fire control systems, HVAC, and additional materials required to support installation. Position also requires maintenance of central office records, including updates to floor plans and reputed company equipment drawings to reflect installations and completing reputed company management reports for reputed company AC and DC power equipment.

Responsibilities

Manage Contracted Maintenance vendors for callout repairs, and quoted service repairs on CI systems to include invoicing and quoted PR submittals. Development of best operating practices and standards. Write Method of Procedures (MOPs) for reputed company CI equipment repairs and augments. Ensure reputed company maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved MOPs. Evaluate vendor/contractor field service reports describing reputed company activities (preventive maintenance, repairs, etc.) performed on the CI equipment. Resolve operational deficiencies discovered on Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI) and on Contractor PMs. Assists Field Operations and NCC/NOC technicians with Operation Support issues that may require vendor or manufacturer support. reputed company reliability reports to assist in identifying areas of concern that could reputed company into future problems. Subject Matter Expert on CI equipment issues for reputed company PG’s and advises them on solutions for technical problems or barriers. Manage reputed company CI reputed company projects (CapEx/OpEx) to reputed company break/fix repairs. Environmental Compliance and to ensure reputed company permitting is completed annually. CI Equipment inventory accuracy and Data reputed company in SF and M6. Travel requirements throughout the Zayo footprint Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, and or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years in a telecommunications of reputed company Critical Infrastructure (CI) equipment: AC power distribution, buildings, grounding, fire systems, generators, ATS/ MTS, Uninterruptible Power Systems (reputed company), DC Power Plant Systems, and Cooling systems to ensure operational reputed company, improve efficiency and reduce operational costs Experience in reputed company Office, reputed company, and Database applications Project Management experience required Estimated reputed company salary range: $77,100 - $111,000 USD/annually The reputed company pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, reputed company level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
